It always brightens my day to come home to the pink & white box each month, and this month PopSugar did a good job with their box! This month’s box was inspired by spring showers, farmers market, outdoor fun, fresh produce & simplicity.
Dottie Umbrella: $20
Info: With and umbrella as adorable as this, we’re welcoming Spring showers with open arms. Plus, the auto-open-and-close feature and quick-drying fabric are sure to make any outdoor adventure enjoyable, rain or shine. | http://www.dabneylee.com
Thoughts: I’ve been looking for a new umbrella to replace my rinky-dink cheapo zebra umbrella, so this was a pleasant surprise. I love the navy blue & white dot design, and the auto-open-and-close feature is awesome!
Gardenia + Tea Antioxidant Body Serum: $39
Info: We’re addicted to this luxurious serum that takes moisture to the next level. Infused with antioxidants and other superstar ingredients, it has a subtle fragrance of gardenia and offers nourishing effects for softer skin all over. | http://www.oneloveorganics.com
Thoughts: I did not like this one very much…I don’t know if it was just due to user error or something, but I feel like this made my skin feel way too greasy and oily. Maybe I used too much? Not sure. I also can’t say I was a huge fan of the way it smelled.
Rhubarb Spring Candle: $20
Info: Bring the farm stand home to you with this sweet-smelling rhubarb candle. Crafted in Charleston, SC, with natural soy wax, this “candle crop” will fill a room with the scent of fresh rhubarb on a crisp Spring day. | http://www.producecandles.com
Thoughts: This pleasant smelling candle does indeed fill any room with a nice sweet scent. How close it is to smelling like actual rhubarb however is beyond me, since I’ve never had rhubarb before. While I do think it smells good I can’t say I’ll be using it often and may hand it over to my sister, a candle fanatic.
24-7 Bag: $12
Info: From bag to ball, this 24-7 reusable bag compacts in a pinch – no folding or zipping necessary. Made of reliable ripstop nylon, it’s perfect for the market and carries all of your essentials with ease! | http://www.flipandtumble.com
Thoughts: This is a genius idea, and it works pretty well. I was shocked at how easy it was to get the bag back into it’s ball form. I can see this being a staple in any house, since it’s so compact you could even just keep it in your purse – no more “oops I left it in the car – excuses.
Garden-in-a-Bag Basil: $10
Info: Homegrown fresh spices just got easier with Garden-in-a-Bag Basil. No chopping or mincing required – enjoy the miniature leaves straight off the plant for flavorful dishes year-round! | http://www.pottingshedcreations.com
Thoughts: This seems like it’ll be a great addition to our kitchen, we are huge basil lovers! I’m excited to see how well this does, so far I already have sprouts & tiny little basil leaves are growing!
Approximate total: $101
This month’s was overall a pretty good box, I liked most of the items, and the one or two that I wasn’t a fan of I can easily gift to someone else. If you’re interested in subscribing to PopSugar Must Have you can use the code REFER5 to get $5 off your first box. 🙂
