4 Favorite Fall Lip Colors

Fall is back ya’ll! And yes, I’ve been waiting all year to say that. But I’ve also been waiting all year to share with you guys my four favorite lip colors for my favorite season (however, don’t be fooled into thinking I don’t wear these all year round, cuz I do).

4 fav fall lip colors

First up is a new lip gloss I got in an Ipsy Bag by Hikari, “Merlot”. This is a really pretty wine colored gloss, and surprisingly has amazing staying power. I’ve been totally loving this, and I’m usually not the biggest fan of lip glosses. The only problem I’ve had with it is that it tends to bleed a little bit after eating/wearing for long periods of time. But I’m sure some liner will solve that problem.

Next is “Shameless” by Revlon, a really nice & creamy dark purple matte lip stain/balm. I’ve been a huge fan of Revlon’s Colorblast lip balms for a while now, and I’ve just recently gotten courageous enough to try out the dark purple lip trend. Needless to say…I’m in love ❤

Third is the gorgeous “Melted Berry” shade by Too Faced from their Melted Lipstick line. Berry colors always look great on me, and this one is no different. Like “Merlot” above, “Melted Berry” does tend to bleed after eating and longer wear times, but again I’m sure this is fixable with some lip liner. This lip color dries matte, which is a nice change of pace for me, the girl that’s usually obsessed with anything glossy or shimmery.

Last but definitely not least is a much calmer and subtle color, “Je t’aime” by City Color, another one I got in a recent Ipsy Bag (promise I’ll get back on track with subscription posts next month!). “Je t’aime” is a really nice and simple rosy cream lipstick, and goes on like a super smooth lip balm. This one doesn’t last quite as long as the others, but it is just a lipstick and not a stain, so that much is to be expected.

How do you color your lips for fall? Let me know below!
