Office – Ready Holo Mani

The unfortunate thing about having a job is that sometimes, it keeps you from wearing what you like on your nails. Luckily for me, I’ve never had this issue. However, I know that in many situations (mostly formal office settings) there are no doubt restrictions on not only what you wear but what polish you use as well…talk about people not having any fun. So what can you do aside from a #basic french manicure?

How about a holographic accent nail?! (obviously there may be some places with restrictions on “glitter” – how boring)

If you are lucky enough that your workplace allows glitter but unlucky enough that you can’t wear crazy nail art, this one is definitely for you! The main polish is a gorgeous fawn nude, which is absolutely PERFECT for any office setting (in fact, it’s name is *literally* ‘Corner Office’… ha!). Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Corner Office – Formula X
  • Strobe Light – Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear
  • Base coat of your choosing (I used Instant Artificials on the nails w/ normal polish & a peel off base coat for the glitter accent nail)
  • Quick drying top coat of your choice
  • Makeup sponge for dabbing on glitter polish

The process is easy and actually pretty fast if you do your coats thin enough. Corner Office has a great formula and is just almost a full coverage polish. The most difficult part is the glitter – which is still pretty easy! All you do is paint on a thin coat of the glitter polish to give you a good tacky base, then apply some glitter polish directly onto your makeup sponge and dab it onto your nail until you reach full glitter coverage.
